UFC fighter Ronda Rousey is recovering and dealing with her epic loss in the best way she knows how.
Rousey sat down for an interview with ESPN The Magazine, discussing the aftermath of her brutal knockout at the hands of Holly Holm:
“(I’m) really (expletive) sad,” Rousey told the magazine (via People), who reports Holm’s kick loosened Rousey’s teeth. “It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact.”
The interview overall showed a positive attitude by Rousey, who’s likely in line for a rematch with Holm that should generate big bucks for the UFC.
No word yet on whether a rematch would take place in July at UFC 200.
