Ok, the headline is a little sensational as I truly don’t know if anyone was close to this concourse where it occurred Sunday night after the game ended – but I’ll assume so dammit.
Bob Flynn shared the pic on Twitter showing a few big pieces of concrete that fell from somewhere up above.
Per the Detroit Free Press: ‘Ron Colangelo, Detroit Tigers vice president of communications, said the stadium operations department “acknowledged a piece of concrete did fall to the 100 level concourse after the game. No one was injured as the ballpark was pretty clear at the time. The area has been isolated and operations will look into what may have been the cause.” ‘
