Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez just outright dismissed newly-signed Tim Tebow as any sort of threat to his presumed backup status.
“We needed another guy to throw while Sam’s (Bradford) still recovering. So that’s the reason (for the signing), at least as explained to me,” Sanchez said, via CSN Philadelphia.
Sanchez is likely telling the truth, but publically announcing it to the world kinda shows just how he feels about the signing of his former teammate, no?
And who could blame him? Tebow signed with the Jets in 2012 and immediately created a media firestorm and QB controversy that Sanchez definitely remembers all too well.
