Per USA TODAY, ‘The mask is one of six designed in partnership with MSG Network and its new series, The Mask with Henrik Lundqvist — each will be actioned off via Steiner Sports, and the proceeds will go to The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.’
The mask features imagery of the New York City skyline … the Twin Towers, the Statue of Liberty, and the newly finished Freedom Tower … The mask also has a 343 on the chin piece to honor those firefighters who lost their lives as a result of 9/11. The mask also has a “Rescue 1″ 150th anniversary patch, and a Rescue 1 Fire truck. Henrik and the FDNY thought it was important to make sure the mask honored New York’s best and bravest
