Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy’s 10-game ban without pay doesn’t kick in until the start of the regular season, so he’s still able to take part in offseason workouts with his new team.
And that’s what he was doing when he reportedly challenged teammate DL Davon Coleman’s effort during conditioning, which escalated into a “verbal altercation,” first reported by Mike Garafolo and Alex Marvez of FOX Sports.
Coleman’s response that ticked Hardy off, according to Yahoo Sports’ Rand Getlin? “He called him a woman beater,” a source told Getlin.
Perhaps Hardy should lay low for awhile and condition/workout away from the team if this kind of stuff is happening during the first week of team activities.
I could’ve sworn I heard somewhere that Dallas signing Hardy was a bad idea.
