According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Florida State cornerback P.J. Williams was on the Steelers’ list of early-round draft selections; however, he’s now off of it after getting arrested in Leon County, Florida for DUI.
Williams (6’0, 194) has been compared to Buffalo Bills CB Stephon Gilmore and was projected as a potential first-round or early 2nd-round pick.
He has off-field question marks already after an October hit-and-run, and this likely drops him out of the first round, perhaps even further.
From @RapSheet and me: Per the Leon County jail, FSU CB PJ Williams — a prospective 1st-rounder — was arrested for DUI at 3:08 AM today.
