Pete Carroll will miss Jim Harbaugh: ‘He brought the best out of us’

The San Francisco 49ers-Seattle Seahawks rivalry is no more – at least from two coach’s standpoints – as one was canned, and well… the other will be feeling the sting of a bad call that lost the Super Bowl for a long time to come.

Carroll spoke of former 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh on Friday, and when asked if he’d miss coaching against the forced out skipper, he replied “Yes, matter of fact I will… I thought he was a great competitor. I thought that he did an incredible job … he brought the best out of us. I think the world of his coaching ability and the job that he did.

“I like it when it’s tough, and he did make it that way.”

“We had some great games and all that, and I wish him the best,” he added. “I think he’s going to kick butt at Michigan and do a great job. I’m really anxious to watch it happen.”
