As the season has ended for many teams not good enough for the playoffs, we now come to the glorious beginning of the NFL annual player arrest offseason.
‘Tis the season…
Minnesota Vikings rookie cornerback Jabari Price takes the lead with a DWI charge on early Monday morning. Apparently, we in the media must have dropped the ball on this one since we just heard about the news late Friday.
Price was observed by a State Trooper ‘driving above the speed limit southbound on Interstate 35W and pulled Price over. The trooper “detected impairment in the driver,” according to the incident report, and administered a breathalyzer test. Price had a blood alcohol level of 0.13 percent and was arrested on suspicion of DWI at the scene,’ per The Star Tribune’s Matt Vensel.
“We are aware of the incident involving Jabari Price and are looking into the matter,” a spokesman for the team said in a statement. “We will withhold any further comment at this time.”
