Soon after we all got word that former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice had his indefinite suspension overturned by a judge on Friday, the Today Show announced that wifey Janay will appear on the show in a two-part interview, starting on Monday.

On Friday, she sat down for an interview with ESPN’s Jemele Hill.imagesY2EBQK99

In a little teaser released by NBC, Janay tells Matt Lauer what happened when they got home after Ray knocked her unconscious in a casino elevator.

“He tried to talk to me, I didn’t want to hear anything,” she told Lauer. “I just knew he hit me and I was completely over it. I was done, didn’t want to hear anything. I just didn’t even want to entertain it, entertain him, anything that he had to say, any explanation.

“Of course I knew in the back of my mind and in my heart I knew that our relationship wouldn’t be over because I know that this isn’t us, and it’s not him.”

The network says Janay’s parents Joe and Cindy Palmer appear in the interview as well; oh, and Ray will be there too.
