During Thursday night’s preseason matchup with the 49ers, Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was glad to see the home fans were still behind him after his much-publicized May arrest for knocking his then-fiancée out cold in a casino elevator.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell came down hard on Rice last month, handing down a whopping TWO game suspension.
That’ll learn ya young man!
“It means the world to me,” Rice said after the game, via The Baltimore Sun. “You know what, everything that I’ve been through, I don’t take anything for granted any more, especially going out there and playing in front of our fans.”
