In their defense, the University of Florida finalized their 2014 calendars way back in the Spring of 2013, so it was no big deal back then to feature one of the latest football stars to come out of the school. They were obviously very proud of Aaron Hernandez’s accomplishments…
Little did they know that soon after the calendar layout and design was approved (and assumingly printed?) that their former star tight end would be arrested on murder charges.
“Approval process for those things is over a year out, so that would have been approved in spring of 2013,” the school tweeted Monday.
