During the post-game ring chat following Rhonda Rousey’s 16-second dispatching of Alexa Davis, UFC President Dana White got snappy with Joe Rogan after he posed an on-the-spot question regarding Rousey’s potential for participating in UFC 176.
Rogan was following a request from the production truck to ask Rousey about the next fight. She answered with a non-committal response.
That’s when White appeared and apologized to Rousey as Rogan tried to calm him down…
“I wasn’t upset with Joe Rogan; I was upset with the (broadcast) truck telling him to tell Ronda that she’s going to fight again,” White later said at the press conference, via USA TODAY Sports. “That wasn’t true; that was some (expletive) that somebody made up back there. It was the biggest idiotic move in the history of our production team.”
