Former Dallas Cowboys DT Josh Brent has been released from county jail, but he’s far from done with the sentence handed down for him in his conviction of intoxication manslaughter in a car crash that killed teammate and friend Jerry Brown Jr.

He’ll now head to a treatment facility to serve out the rest of his 180-day sentence, which he has about six weeks left, reports Melissa Repko of the Dallas Morning News.

A judge granted Brent’s request for the transfer, with Dallas County First Assistant District Attorney Heath Harris telling KXAS-TV (NBC5) that rehab “would help him get more help with those issues.”

“We’re not going to stand in the way of that,” he said.
