This may mark the first time anyone has heard of a fan getting a tattoo of a team’s owner, but such is the case with 32-year-old Jack Meredith, who as of Saturday now sports a permanent homage on his right arm to the recently departed owner of the Buffalo Bills, Ralph Wilson.
Wilson died at the age of 95 in March.
“We wouldn’t have the team without him,” Meredith said, via ESPN’s Darren Rovell. “And so I felt it would be nice to pay tribute to him.”
Reaction so far to the peculiar ink has been mixed, but Meredith isn’t bothered.
“Some people think I’m crazy,” he said. “I don’t care. It’s my arm.”
