Bon Jovi owning the Bills? Jerry Jones thinks it’s a great idea

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi, already a good friend of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft, is also apparently a pal of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Jones, commenting on what CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora said back in November, that Bon Jovi expressed interest in purchasing the Buffalo Bills, called Bon Jovi a “qualified owner” on Monday.

“Jon Bon Jovi is first-class,” Jones said. “You shouldn’t equate creativeness in any way with compromising solid, sound, people you want to live by you next door, true American, true citizen. Jon Bon Jovi is that.

“I don’t know of anyone that I have more respect for as a father or as a husband or, certainly, as a potential business partner. He’s qualified to become an NFL owner.”

Bon Jovi was the founder and former owner of the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul, and expressed interest in purchasing a 15% stake of the Atlanta Falcons back in 2011. So might he make a run for the Bills? He certainly will have some good words put in for him.
