A Massachusetts man is getting the last laugh after being attacked by former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez in jail.
He was released over the weekend while Hernandez won’t see the outside for a very long time…
The inmate, 25-year-old Andrew Booker, who was in Bristol County Jail on weapons and drugs charges, was released from custody Saturday afternoon, reports TMZ.
Before the alleged attack, Booker and Hernandez reportedly exchanged words for weeks, leading Hernandez to punch and strike Booker repeatedly as the two crossed each other in a hallway. Booker was cuffed at the time. Hernandez obviously was not.
Per TMZ: Booker’s lawyer claims he suffered cuts, bruises and scrapes in the attack. He also claims Booker is considering taking legal action against the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office for allowing the attack to take place.
