Just as San Diego State running back Adam Muema was about to showcase his talents at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this weekend, the Almighty God sent a clear message to the young player.
God’s message: Don’t workout, and your dreams of playing for the Seattle Seahawks will be realized.
“(God) told me to sit down, be quiet, and enjoy the peace,” Muema said, via U-T San Diego.
So with that, Muema left, citing “religious reasons” for skipping the workout.
“Can’t go wrong with God,” he added.
Per U-T San Diego: ‘ Muema said he communicates with God through numbers. His deep religious convictions are no secret to those close to him. The beliefs are evident on social media, where he often quotes scripture on his Twitter account. His Facebook and Instagram accounts include several links to a person titled “Lord Ray-el,” who claims online to be the second coming of Christ. Muema said Lord Ray-el means “the word of God.”
