Newspaper cartoon pokes fun at Browns owner Jimmy Haslamon January 1st, 2014 at 12:44 PM
This cartoon pretty much sums up everything; Per Jeff Darcy, Plain Dealer:
‘During their Monday spin session with the media, Jimmy Haslam and Joe Banner resolved to “get it right” in their second coaching search in a year. Haslam should also make a New Year’s resolution to stop using the word “Candidly.” Saying “honest, “trust me”or “candidly” implies everything else that was said previously was not candid or honest and you can’t be trusted.
It’s an especially bad word choice for anyone who’s company is under an ongoing federal investigation that has already had 7 employees agree to plead guilty in plea deals, with more likely to come. ‘
