The New York Yankees, formerly known as the evil empire, lured CF Jacoby Ellsbury away from Boston with a lucrative seven-year, $153 million contract on Tuesday night, and of course we get the silly fans who still like to cry “traitor!” even after the Red Sox just won the World Series.
Ellsbury took the money. He’s a professional athlete. What’s not to understand?
