Try saying that three times fast, eh?…
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate, of last season’s “Fail Mary” fame, got slapped with a $7,875 fine for his taunting of Rams defensive backs Rodney McLeod and Janoris Jenkins as he capped off an 80-yard catch and run TD last Monday night, reports the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
For his part, Tate acknowledged it was a pretty childish thing to do (and as of Friday, pretty costly).
“Hurt my team,” Tate told NFL Media’s Michelle Beisner after the game. “I’ve gotta stay composed. … Act like I’ve been there before.”
