Vegas takes a bath on Buckeyes’ ast-minute TD

A whopping $100 million is what they’re saying was dashed away in a matter of seconds as the Ohio State Buckeyes scored a meaningless touchdown on the final play against Northwestern Saturday night.

ABC’s Brent Musburger was full aware of Northwestern beating the 5.5 point spread up until that point, saying on-air “there are some folks who are celebrating and other folks who are saying ‘you gotta be kidding me,” per USA TODAY Sports.

Northwestern had the ball on the final play only to fumble it away on a lateral play, as Ohio State scooped it up in the end zone for the TD.

Most of the action was on the Buckeyes, so the TD shifted more than $100 million from sports books to gamblers, according to Vegas insider RJ Bell.
