Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones is no stranger to the courtroom, but this one must have been one of his more pleasant visits.
On Tuesday, Jones was found not guilty of assault stemming from an incident where he allegedly punched a woman in the head, according to USA TODAY Sports.
Well, not so much allegedly, as there was a video recording (below) of the incident.
Jones was accused of hitting Shannon Wesley outside a Cincinnati nightclub and was arrested in June and released on his own recognizance.
Apparently, Wesley was a little pissed off that Jones didn’t give her an autograph, so she poured beer on him, prompting the NFL cornerback to strike her down.
Jones, who’s attorney says he was the victim, still may face punishment from the league.
