After hearing this morning’s report of Boston Celtics second year power forward Jared Sullinger being arrested for assault and battery on his girlfriend, I am curious to see how the Celtics treat this issue compared to the Patriots handling of their player’s issues.
I am not comparing what Sullinger did to Aaron Hernandez, but will the Celtics keep him after this, or role the dice on him. If he was released, he would be the second 1st round draft pick from 2012 gone, as the C’s let Fab Melo go last month
Sullinger turned himself into Waltham Police this morning, according to the Boston Globe, after being accused of pinning his girlfriend to the bed, pushed her and prevented her from using her cell phone to call the police. Sullinger was arrested on assault and battery, malicious destruction of property and witness intimidation and was released on a $5,000 bail and is also not allowed to be near the victim without a third party present and not allowed any non-working related travel.
