Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones was supposed to be a changed man, telling everyone, including NFL rookies, that his days of off-field trouble were over and done with.
Jones was arrested once again (his second of the year) on Monday morning after a car he was traveling in was pulled over for speeding. The driver, 33-year-old Tishana F. Holmes was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and Jones was cuffed for disorderly conduct, according to WCPO in Cincinnati. Both charges are misdemeanors.
Apparently Jones was out celebrating his 30th Birthday Sunday night, as he posted a pic on Instagram and Twitter of his party. This latest arrest marks at least the 8th time he’s been arrested since he entered the league in 2005, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Per WCPO: ‘ A series of arrests in 2006 and 2007 led to Jones being suspended from the NFL in 2008. He returned in 2009 with the Dallas Cowboys. He was released after that season when he was identified as a suspect in a 2007 Las Vegas shooting. He was never charged in the incident. In July 2011, months after signing with the Bengals, Jones faced two misdemeanor charges for an altercation at Scene Ultra Lounge where he was accused of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
He recently pleaded not guilty to hitting a woman at a downtown bar in June . ‘
