New Orleans Saints fan David Mobley jumped a barricade separating the public from Saints players during Friday’s practice.
That’s as far as he got.
A police officer with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office promptly tackled the 59-year-old resident of Houma, LA, who was arrested on charges of remaining after forbidden, resisting arrest and battery of a police officer, reports the Hattiesburg American.
“He told us he wanted to try out for the Saints,” Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office public information officer John Fortunato said.
