Mayweather says Pacquiao ‘had a chance, he blew it’

Mayweather-Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather Jr. says it’s all Manny Pacquiao’s fault that a blockbuster Money-PacMan fight will never happen, according to David Mayo of MLive.com.

“He’s not going to get a chance to fight me,” Mayweather said. “Now, I’m feeling like I wouldn’t even give him a chance. He had a chance, he blew it, so that’s what it is.”

For all his latest talk, let’s go back to July when Money said he would only fight Pacquiao “if he signs with Mayweather Promotions.” Mayweather has rescinded that offer, telling MLive “that’s probably how I was feeling at that particular time.”

Pacquiao was asked for his thoughts earlier this week on Floyd’s claim that his career is over: “Let’s get it on. Fight in the ring,” Pacquiao told Marcos Villegas of Boxing Channel. “I mean, whatever you can say. ‘My boxing career is done.’ Then fight. Try. That’s good for you because you can easily beat me in the ring.”
