Locked up broad: Aaron Hernandez’s cousin jailed for contempt

Tanya Cummings-Singleton, former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s cousin, is being jailed for contempt after refusing to testify in front of a grand jury investigating the murder of Aaron’s former friend Odin Lloyd.

Cummings-Singleton was subpoenaed to appear before the court, but she declined like it was a party invite, reports the Hartford Courant.  She’s being held South Bay House of Correction in Suffolk County, which has been her new home since Aug. 1st.

Tanya apparently used a credit card in a former name to buy a get-away bus ticket for Ernest Wallace, a defendant in the June 17th murder.

Police also discovered that a phone used by Wallace was registered to her, but they have not been able to locate it. They also wanted to question her husband, Thaddeus Singleton III, but he died in a car crash in June.
