Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel had to sit out the first half due to his itty ibtty slap on the wrist suspension, but he sure made up for it, in both talent and a-hole-ness against Rice this afternoon.
He ended his day going 6-of-8 for 94 yards and three touchdowns, all in the process of mocking the NCAA and taunting Rice players, reports Graham Watson of Yahoo! Sports. The taunting resulted in a 15-yard penalty for the Aggies.
Granted Rice players were reportedly talking sh*t about Manziel’s autograph signing, but Johnny Football, currently under a huge microscope, made a motion like he was autographing something, then later pretended to handle money by rubbing his fingers together after his first TD.
“That wasn’t very smart and that’s why he didn’t go back into the game either,” Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin said after the game. “You would hope at this point, you’d learn from something like that. We’re still working on that and that’s why he wasn’t going back in the game no matter what was happening.”
