Giants’ Dan Connor brings switchblade to airport, promptly arrested

Apparently Giants linebacker Dan Connor didn’t get the memo that the TSA shelved plans to allow small knives onto planes.

A TSA officer at Philadelphia International Airport saw the knife in his luggage through an X-ray machine and notified Philadelphia’s finest.

According to WPVI in Philadelphia, Connor was arrested at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday.

He was charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Conner was a third round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2008 and in 2012 played for the Dallas Cowboys. He signed with the Giants this offseason, and is currently in the mix for a starting linebacker role with the team.
