After failing in their request to have Josh Brent’s bond revoked last week, the Dallas County prosecutors are back with another request. This time, they’re armed with a doozy.
Seems Brent has been smoking the sticky icky when out on bond, a big no no for a guy who’s accused of driving drunk and killing his friend and teammate Jerry Brown.
According to the district attorney’s office, the urinalysis conducted on May 24th confirmed that Brent had “tested positive for marijuana and marijuana metabolite,” reports Brian McIntyre of Yahoo! Sports.
A hearing for the latest motion will take place on June 21.
