Tony Allen pays for his flagrant flop, fined $5,000on May 24th, 2013 at 5:24 PM
During game 2 of the San Antonio Spurs-Memphis Grizzlies series, Manu Ginobili committed a flagrant foul on Tony Allen as he was going up for a layup in the final minute of regulation. After the foul, Allen returned the favor with a flagrant flop (one for the history books I might add).
The league looked over the incident over the last two days and came to conclusion that Allen must be punished for his silly stunt. They announced Friday afternoon that Allen has been fined $5,000 for violating the league’s anti-flopping policy.
