In one of his routines, comedian Chris Rock once said that he’s not saying O.J. Simpson shoulda killed his ex-wife, but he ‘understands’…
We all laughed, because it’s comedy.
But when troubled former Lions receiver Titus Young says it to his ex-girlfriend, it’s definitely restraining order time.
And that’s exactly what his ex and mother of his 8-year-old son did, according to the Press Enterprise. She was granted a temporary restraining against him after filing the complaint on May 8th, two days before his latest arrest.
“He would say things like, ‘I understand why O.J. killed his wife,‘” the restraining order request alleges. “He got mad and yelled at my neighbors and tried to fight multiple people that he doesn’t even know.”
The request also echoes Young’s father’s comment about his son’s mental condition: “Titus Young Sr. has been clinically diagnosed with a mental disorder and I am afraid of what he is capable of doing,” the request reads. “He also has been in a mental help facility more than once and still believes that he does not have a problem.”
