The mighty Omaha Beef of the Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) are here to turn Tim Tebow’s frown upside down, offering the quarterback a standard player contract that will pay him $75 per game.
Soon after the New York Jets released Tebow, Beef GM Andrew Mather contacted agent Jimmy Sexton with the offer, reports the Associated Press, via Yahoo Sports!.
If Tim accepts, eh hmm… he’ll look to unseat on-a-roll Beef quarterback James McNear, who’s off to a 5-1 start. In those six games, he’s completed 70% of his passes and threw for 21 TDs. When asked if he’s at all insulted about the possibility of Tebow taking his job, he replied “I think Tim can learn a lot from me.”
So far, Tim has two offers on the table. The other is an offer to be quarterbacks coach in the Legends Football League (formerly the Lingerie Football league.)
See… life isn’t so bad for Tim Tebow.
