I thought College was for learning, not regressing… First we hear about Alabama players knocking people out and robbing them, now we get cat burglars up north.
Four students, two of them Syracuse University football players, were charged in 3 Campus burglaries Feb. 23rd, Syracuse police said, via The Post-Standard.
Junior defensive tackle Davon Walls and junior defensive end Markus Pierce-Brewster were charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny after they burglarized an apartment, swiping a flat screen TV, an XBOX and two iPods while students were asleep.
“We are very disappointed and do not in any way condone the alleged behavior that resulted in these charges,” SU Football Coach Scott Shafer said in a statement. “This does not represent the core values of our program or the conduct expected of student-athletes representing Syracuse football. We will be following the judicial process and will act accordingly.”
