Who better than Dennis Rodman to be the first American to meet North Korea’s new leader Kim Jong Un.
“You have a friend for life,” Rodman told the supreme leader, after the two sat next to each other to watch a basketball exhibition game in Pyongyang, North Korea, according to CNN.
Kim’s a big basketball fan, and like his father, will probably have some hilarious claims about his athletic prowess force fed to his people soon; stuff like “Kim Jong Un once scored 200 points in a basketball game.” You just wait… Did you know his father, Kim Jong-il shot an amazing 11 holes-in-one, with an unprecedented 38-under-par game on a regulation 18-hole golf course – on his first try at golf? It’s true, his 17 bodyguards were fortunately there to witness and verify it.
Rodman, obviously not on any sort of official diplomatic mission, tweeted “I’m not a politician. Kim Jung Un & North Korean people are basketball fans. I love everyone. Period. End of story,”
