Conner Bird, son of Celtics legend Larry Bird, was arrested Sunday at Indiana University, Chief Keith Cash of the Indiana University Police Department said, via USA Today.
He’s facing a slew of charges including battery with injury, criminal mischief, intimidation with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana.
Police say it all started at Bird’s apartment when he allegedly threw a cell phone at his ex-girlfriend, then later in the day drove to her place and talked with her in his car at a parking lot, where they got into yet another fight.
She got out of the car intending to walk home, and as she was walking, Connor tried to hit her not once, by twice with his car. Another student witnessed it and took her to the police.
