Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is competing in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am this weekend, and her approach shot on the sixth hole is one to remember.
The shot hurtled toward the gallery and smacked an unidentified woman in the forehead, and there was much blood involved, according to reports.
“Did I hit you?” Rice said as she hurried over to the woman with the bloody gash above the bridge of her nose. “It was a bad shot. I’m really sorry,” Rice said, via the New York Times.
Rice’s caddie Kathryn Imrie was asked about the incident, saying only “We didn’t talk about it. We tried not to.”
