We’re sure it will take some time for Peyton Manning to get over throwing that ill-fated pass across his body and the subsequent interception that killed his team’s chances to advance to AFC Championship game.
But for now, he’ll get it out of his mind for a few days by doing what he loves – hunting. (note: please forgive the gratuitous photoshop job)
NFL.com reports that he’s traveling the country with his old friend, Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton, rifles and hand, and killing animals.
“He told me he killed, in one day, a duck in Colorado and a deer in Mississippi,” Peyton’s dad Archie told The Associated Press.
“He’s trying to get it out of his system,” he added. “I don’t know when that happens or how. But when he reflects on it, he’s already said it, it was really a special year.”
