We suppose once you’re out of the NFL, you’re out of the closet as well. Former 49er Kwame Harris will appear in San Mateo County Superior Court today on charges he assaulted his former boyfriend Dimitri Geier at a Menlo Park restaurant during an argument over soy sauce and underwear, according to Michelle Durand of smdailyjournal.com.
Yes, soy sauce and underwear folks… you can’t make this stuff up.
It seems the two ex lovers got over a spat while having dinner, and Harris was going to drive Geier to San Francisco International Airport, however, instead became upset when he poured soy sauce on a plate of rice, according to the suit filed in San Mateo County Superior Court. The men went to remove Geier’s stuff from Harris’ car so that he could instead take a cab, and Harris tried pulling Geier’s pants down and accused him of stealing his underwear, according to the suit. Harris decided he wasn’t going to give his ex a ride, they argued, and Geier allegedly hit Harris three times in the face.
Harris “seemed only to grow more agitated” and punched him in the face several times until he fell, the suit states.
“We’re looking forward to having this proven in court and clearing his name,” Harris’s attorney Alin Cintean stated.
“This really is a pure self-defense case. He was attacked.” “We’re looking forward to having this proven in court and clearing his name,” Cintean said.
Oh, we think it’s very clear, crystal…..
