Brandon Marshall says some players use Viagra to gain edge

Players taking PEDS is becoming a bone of contention in the NFL. Forget Adderall, the little blue pill is what you need for that competitive edge in the NFL (and a good Woody Johnson if you know what I mean), according to Brandon Marshall.

“I know guys, it is such a competitive league, guys try anything just to get that edge. I’m fortunate enough to be blessed with size and some smarts to give me my edge,” he said, via Brad Biggs of The Chicago Tribune.

“But some guys, they’ll do whatever they can to get an edge. I’ve heard of some crazy stories. I’ve heard (of) guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin, some crazy stuff.”

He must be joking, right? Maybe not. The World Anti-Doping Agency is funding studies to detect whether the drug gives athletes an aerobic advantage.
